I began the company here in Sacramento back in 1990. I had just gotten out of the Air Force and had tried employment with other heating and air companies. I always felt a sense of disappointment however because the service managers always put profit ahead of the customer's needs. The major complaint about me? I was "too honest" with the customers. Wanting to create a company that put the customer first I began Affordable Heating and Air from the family station wagon and didn't look back. Today we have a great reputation with our customers, the California State Licensing Board, the Better Business Bureau and the Metro Chamber of Commerce. I began this business with the Golden Rule of "doing to others as I would have them do to me" and still hold firmly that point of view.
