Welcome to Bode & Bode Lock & Safe! Serving the Sacramento area since 1911! In addition to our full-service locksmith shop location, we offer 24-hour, seven-day-a-week mobile locksmith service. We are fully licensed with the California State Contractor's Board, The Bureau of Security and Investigative Services and we are fully bonded and insured for your safety. Established in 1911. Bode & Bode was founded in 1911 by the "Bode" sisters as a blacksmith shop. As the Gold Rush ended and the industrial revolution began, people changed from horse-drawn carriages to automobiles, so blacksmiths weren't in demand. People began needing more security, so the sisters changed their business from blacksmith to locksmith. Over 100 years later, we are still serving the Sacramento area. Our shop is open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm, with 24/7 emergency services available. Offering the highest standards of professionalism, our technicians are experienced, courteous and dependable. All of our technicians work out of marked company vehicles, wear shirts with our logo, and use company-issued invoices and business cards. We are fully bonded, insured, and licensed with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (LCO4891) as well as the California Contractor's Board (Lic. #691700). We serve all of Northern California, with shops also located in Concord and Tracy.
