We started Material Handling Systems Inc. in 2001 selling commercial pallet racking. It was a slow start, however having the space to store quality used equipment has allowed us to take advantage of opportunities on good buys so we offer a great selection to our customers. Our storage yard has been in the same location on Arden Way for the last 12 years and is very conveniently located between I-5 and Business 80. In 2012, we started Sacramento Rack & Shelving to appeal to a greater audience. When the iconic building on Colfax and Arden down the street became available, we moved into a retail type storefront. We noticed this type of business is something that has been really needed, not just for businesses and large companies, but also people looking to organize their garages, storage units and personal shops. It's been a fun ride, and we're confident we've created something that will be here for decades to come.
