Established in 2020. At Shed Mania, we launched our business in the midst of the pandemic to address one of the biggest challenges people were facing: the lack of personal space. Even though the pandemic is behind us, we continue to evolve, providing our customers with special personal spaces for work, workouts, hobbies, music, study, and play. Our backyard sheds offer a dedicated environment that promotes focus and success for those who use them. Hi, I’m John Kim, co-founder of Shed Mania, which was established in 2020. The idea for the business came to life after I built a she-shed for my wife during the pandemic. Our house isn’t very big, and with a 7-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son at that time, my wife needed a quiet space to work and attend Zoom meetings during the shelter-in-place order. She loved having that private area, and I thought, “I bet a lot of people could use this kind of space!” And that’s when Shed Mania was born—we haven’t looked back since.
